How Biblical Scholars Wish Scientists Read Scripture

Christians receive the Bible as authoritative. This faith commitment, however, seems to contradict the skepticism required by scientific methods of investigation. Is it possible to at once test the claims of the Bible and accept it as truth beyond our understanding? Is the Bible relevant to those who do not accept its authority?

Dr. Joel Green works with these questions to develop a method of theological interpretation through his work in biblical exegesis, neuroscience, and anthropology. Please join the Science, Theology, and Religion student group as we consider what it means to read the Bible both faithfully and critically.
